Time Warp is excited to announce we are participating in the Autumn 24 rally.
This year the rally goes from Adelaide. SA to Perth, WA.
Shitbox rallies are an amazing group of people who have banded together for a very worthy cause…Fundraising for The Cancer Council Australia. The rally is not a race, it is a colourful, fun filled journey through challenging terrain and adventuring off the beaten track.
Time Warp is comprised of Lynton Francis who has come from team Defiance Duo, and Lisa, who has also completed one rally. This will be our second rally, we both participated in the Summer 23 rally and are excited to have formed team Time Warp for the upcoming Autumn 24 rally.
We will be driving the revamped Defiance Duo’s Ford BA wagon. It made it through the summer rally 23, and fingers crossed it will hold together for another one.
Why are we doing this rally?
The motivation behind us participating is a very simple one. Cancer touches us all. Whether it be personally, a family member, work colleagues or friends.
Lynton has lost his father and best mate to this disease and Lisa has fought her own battles with it. This is a cause close to our hearts and we are looking forward to being able to contribute and to be involved.
Shitbox Rally is the largest community lead fundraiser for the Cancer Council Australia, it is in its 14th year. We are very proud to a part of this community for a second time. As a team we are required to raise a minimum of $5,000 for the charity, we are aiming higher than that and have a goal of $7,000. We hope to exceed this goal with the help of generous donors like you. Every donation, big or small goes a long way in supporting cancer research.
We hope that you will join us on our journey and show your support by following our Facebook page:

Your contribution and support is greatly appreciated, together we can make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Thank you
Shitbox Rally is the adventure of a lifetime challenging participants and their cars, worth no more than $1,500, on a 7 day drive across Australia to raise money for cancer research.
The rally is not a race – it’s a fun, colourful, unpredictable adventure with participants travelling at their own pace in smaller groups. Vehicles often break down but “we never leave anyone behind” and each night is spent camping beneath the stars and celebrating the day’s achievements. It all adds up to an incredible opportunity to see Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make lifelong friends, many brought together after experiencing cancer themselves or seeing cancer impact family and friends.
Since it’s inception the rally has been the largest fundraiser for the Cancer Council nationally.
Shitbox Rally is a dedicated fundraising event for cancer research with funds going to Cancer Council.
Cancer Council is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. We conduct and fund research studies across all cancers and all stages of the cancer journey.
Thanks to the community funds raised such as Shitbox Rally we can fund world-class research that reduces the impact of cancer for everyone.
$41 million over the past 13 years has been raised by Box Rallies to date, supporting ground-breaking projects such as:
These projects wouldn’t be possible without your support.
