Beauty and the Beast

<p>Team Beauty and the Beast drivers are Willie and Bron. </p><p></p><p>Ours is a classic blue collar love story; of nurse meets mechanic. Except our love story started a little later in life and has had the added joys and trials of blending our 3 kids along the way.</p><p></p><p>Cancer research is close to our hearts,&nbsp;having both lost parents to cancer battles. We are driving the rally in honour of my Dad, Max.</p><p></p><p>Max was super intelligent, quirky, a&nbsp;chemical scientist, avid gardener, woodwork genius, husband, dad to four and Opa (grandad)&nbsp;to ten. Max, my dad, also died of cancer. His short battle with cancer is a journey I will never forget. His memory has helped shape how I now live my life and was also the driving force for me to go back to Uni and study to become an Oncology/ Haematology Registered Nurse.</p><p></p><p>Willie is a FIFO worker who was raised by his Dad, Cliff, and Stepmother, Michelle, who have both also lost their lives to their cancer.&nbsp; Cliff became a suddenly single dad of two young children, he was a battler and life wasn't perfect but he keep his family together until he met and feel in love with Michelle.
