We are really pleased to announce that after a break in 2023 & 4 previous rallies under our belt, we're taking part in Shitbox Rally Autumn 2024! This year, all the teams are driving their shitboxes from Adelaide to Perth via the outback.

Shitbox Rally is the largest community lead fundraiser for Cancer Council in Australia and is now in its 14th year. Part of the participation is that all teams have to raise a minimum of $5,000 but most teams raise well above this amount as you can see with the Autumn 2024 rally target set at $2,000,000 plus.

Back in 2018 when we were looking for our Rally Car for our first ever event, we found on Gumtree our Mighty Nissan 300ZX.  It was in a sorry state, having sat for several years being picked at for parts, & the engine being in pieces in the boot.  No normal person would have thought this car was savable, but we had a vision & team 300Z was born.  Through extensive community support we were able to get the car back in one piece & running! It was what we call a shitbox miracle.  The car that was destined for scrap had come back to life, to now be recognised as one of the events most talked about cars ever! 

5 years on & now 4 rallies later, our 300ZX has raised about $25,000, travelled 15,000 kilometers and been part of an event that is now run 4 times per year, raising about 2 million dollars each time.  It is now the largest community led fundraiser for Cancer Research in Australia.  The people we have met along the way, the communities we have visited all over outback Australia has really been something special.
